Adele holds a master of Clinical Psychology from ACU and completed her undergraduate and honours in Psychology at Macquarie University.

Adele is an open minded and engaging therapist whose focus is on creating a safe, judgement free space for clients to explore how they relate to themselves and others. She works collaboratively with her clients and uses her warmth and humour to help her clients move away from limiting patterns of behaviour and live more full and authentic lives. 

Adele has experience across a range of settings, including private practice, inpatient and outpatient hospital units, university clinics and youth services. Adele has experience treating many difficulties including mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, addiction, BPD, gender and sexuality issues, trauma, work and academic difficulties, grief, and bereavement. Adele’s special interest is in helping clients struggling with relationship issues either at work or in their personal lives and helping clients navigate identity concerns/sexuality issues. 

Adele adopts a clients centred and integrative approach to therapy. She prefers to work relationally at a deeper level and incorporates attachment theory into her clinical work. Adele utilises a range of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Schema Therapy. She also draws from her own personal experience with mindfulness and meditation. 

Adele works with clients from a broad range of ages (16yo + up) and culturally diverse backgrounds including multicultural and LGBTQ+ communities. She is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (APHRA) and is a member of the Australian Clinical Psychologists Association (ACPA).
