Approach
Kat works collaboratively with clients to understand the patterns of thoughts, emotions, and behaviours that may be keeping them stuck, and to develop new ways of relating to themselves and others. Her approach is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and curiosity, helping clients move towards greater emotional balance, resilience, and fulfilment.
Kat takes an integrative and client‑centred approach to therapy, drawing primarily from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), while incorporating elements of Schema Therapy. Her style is collaborative and practical, balancing evidence‑based strategies with genuine connection and empathy.

Clients aged 15 and up. Kat creates an inclusive space that welcomes people from all cultural backgrounds, identities, and life experiences.
Experience
Kat has worked across both inpatient and private practice settings, supporting children, teens, and adults with a wide range of presentations. She also has experience supporting clients in acute inpatient settings with psychosis, working alongside the Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIPS) team.
