Nav is a compassionate and dedicated registered psychologist with extensive experience working with individuals across their lifespan. She supports clients presenting with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety disorders (such as social anxiety), mood disorders (including depression and bipolar disorder), adjustment disorder, conflict resolution, trauma, relationship difficulties and neurodivergence, particularly autism and ADHD. Nav is especially passionate about working with neurodiverse individuals and adopts a structured and holistic approach to therapy by integrating executive functioning and emotion regulation skill-building.
Nav’s therapeutic style is warm, inclusive, and non-judgmental. She prioritises creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities, focusing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She works collaboratively with clients to explore challenges, identifying and setting meaningful goals, and implementing strategies that support long-term well-being and personal growth.
Nav is committed to creating a safe, inclusive space where individuals of all backgrounds, identities and experiences feel seen, respected and supported. She values diversity and strives to provide affirming, comprehensive care for clients from marginalised and underrepresented groups.
Alongside her therapeutic work, Nav has a strong interest and expertise in psychological assessments. She conducts autism, ADHD, specific learning disability, and cognitive assessments for children, teens, and adults. Her approach to assessment is comprehensive, collaborative and respectful, aiming to provide individuals and families with clarity, insight and practical guidance.
Nav completed her academic training in New Zealand, earning a Bachelor of Science, an Honours degree, and a Master of Science with a major in Psychology from the University of Otago. Her academic background and clinical experience equip her to provide high-quality, tailored care that meets the unique needs of each individual she works with.
Nav is a fully registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and a Medicare-registered provider.
